Hi there I'm MB, an artist and maker based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch) here in Aotearoa NZ where I live with my husband Danny and our three cats: Georgina, Agnes, and Frank.

This site is a place to share my work, host my little art shop full of all kinds of different curiosities and creations, and share information about any upcoming classes or exhibitions. 

Art-making is for everyone; since 2020 I have shared both free and paid online and in-person classes, and am passionate about the power of art to express yourself, process complicated emotions, connect with others, and bring joy to your day, 

In my own arts practice I work in all mediums although my main love is painting; and my works are generally illustrative with botanical elements and self-reflective themes.

I have exhibited in Itoshima, Japan where I held my first solo show 'Dust' (2017), and here in Aotearoa in various shows in Rotorua, and Ōtautahi Christchurch.
